Cryo Fat Freeze
When fat cells are exposed to a precise cooling below body temperature, they undergo crystallisation and localised cell death (apoptosis) followed by a local inflammatory response.
Apoptosis
Is sometimes referred to as programmed cell death the process of apoptosis follows a controlled, predictable routine.
During Crylipolysis, (fat freezing) the freezing and crystallisation process causes the cell to become damaged and shrink resulting in the cells sending out distress signals. These signals are answered by macrophages.
The macrophages ingest the damaged and shrunken cells, taking the waste through the body’s natural waste removal system (lymph system) leaving no trace.
20-40% of fat cells in the treated area die in a natural way and dissolve over a course of weeks.
The process of elimination of the damaged fat cells will take approximately 2-4 months. As this happens the thickness of the fat layer within the treated area will gradually reduce.
